Treetops in Otterburn, near Bellingham, Northumberland sleeps 6 people. Treetops is a lovely and modern three bedroom lodge, situated amongst other similar lodges. With comfortable sofas, TVs in all bedrooms and a superb 55” wall-mounted Smart TV with Netflix and access to Amazon Prime TV in the living/dining room, it is a perfect retreat for relaxing both inside and out. Trees to the rear offer some privacy around the raised decked area complete with a hot tub and seating for six. The lodge is ideal for families and couples, and perfect if you are attending a wedding at one of the nearby wedding venues in the village.
The lodge park is set just within the Northumberland National Park boundary so is ideal for catching those beautiful dark skies on a clear night. The village pub is just under a mile away, and a little further along is the friendly village shop selling wines and everyday essentials. If you need a bigger shop the large supermarkets do deliver, or Bellingham is only 9 miles away and offers a supermarket. The Coach House located on site currently opens at selected times and serves great food.
From Otterburn it is easy to reach Kielder Observatory, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is perfect for star gazing (prior booking needed). A day trip over to the Northumberland Heritage Coast will make for a great day out with miles of unspoilt beaches and historic castles. The lively city of Newcastle upon Tyne is only 32 miles away and perfect for trips to the theatre, shopping, culture and music, and Hexham Abbey is approximately 25 miles away.
Northumberland has been voted the best UK county to visit in the British Tourism Awards in 2018. With its rugged moors and hills, golden sands, National Park, friendly locals, cities and fishing villages, there really is something for everyone. Come back and soak up the atmosphere in the hot tub at Treetops and rejuvenate yourself for the next day out.

Bedroom 1: With king-size bed, Freeview TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, French doors leading to decked area and en-suite with walk-in shower and toilet.
Bedroom 2: With king-size bed and 40" Freeview TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Bedroom 3: With twin beds and 40" Freeview TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail.
Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Small front lawned garden. Raised rear decked area with garden furniture. Hot tub for 6 (private). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a spring.

Don’t even know where to start! Absolute heaven....soon as I set my eyes on the lodge I thought ‘these owners have such a lovely style and if I had a lodge this is exactly how I would like it to be’ 😍 THEN found out the owners designed and built this themselves 😱 incredible!
Everything was perfect (comfy beds, access to coffee machine, very clean, hand sanitiser machine fitted, lots of board games/cards/crayons available)
21 weeks pregnant and suffering terrible morning sickness (finally subsiding) this was exactly what I needed! Even with 2 kids it was SO relaxing 😍 the hot tub outside had a seating area and the view was beautiful watching the birds and the squirrels 🐿
There’s also a lovely Woodland walk on site and we all enjoyed a walk and a splodge!
You will not be disappointed if you book treetops I can assure you that! And I have no doubt that pine tree is just as lovely ❤️ Thankyou so much for the memories xxx
Just got back from a lovely weekend away at Pine Tree Lodge it was absolutely fabulous! All of the finishing touches like the coffee machine, the super comfy beds, the TV’s in each room with Netflix and more on to name a few made the stay extremely cosy and homely! There is also plenty of beautiful local walks to do. Tracey and James have thought of everything you may need to have a perfect weekend away😊 I know we will definitely be coming back🤞🏼Thanks got letting us stay💕
Really beautiful lodge . Very well equipped and very clean , had everything you need and more ! Hot tub amazing after hard days walking . Very high spec bathrooms . Great to have the coffee machine with supplies and tv in all rooms and Netflix, good to watch a film after days walk , hot tub then film ! In a great area of Northumberland . This lodge is the best one on the site.
Just back from spending New Years Eve at Treetops. Beautiful lodge, owners very attentive to details and all the little added extras were fantastic. Very relaxing in a superb location, highly recommended.

Had an amazing weekend at Pine Tree lodge, celebrating our extended family members 21st birthday, the lodge was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had everything we all needed and more, the hot tub was the highlight of our stay and got used to the fullest, we all had a blast,set in beautiful surroundings with lovely walking areas, would highly recommend this gorgeous lodge x
